Description

Opened in 1849, the Saint-Ours Canal is a part of the network that links the St. Lawrence and the Hudson River.
It connects the cities of Montreal and New York. Unique in North America, the Vianney-Legendre migration path allows fish from the Richelieu River, the copper redhorse, to cross the Saint-Ours dam.
