Maison nationale des Patriotes isicotte
Located in a village that has received the “most beautiful village” designation, la Maison nationale des Patriotes is a genuine heritage gem with a rich history; it bore witness to the rebellion of the Patriotes in 1837-1838.
Housed in a historic monument built in 1809, this center of interpretation on the history of the Patriots from 1837 to 1838 is a real historical adventure. Using reconstructed elements and many artifacts, the Maison immerses you into the era of the Patriots: guided tours of the exhibition and the village of Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, exhibitions, cultural activities and various events.
