Recognized by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada as a location of National importance for the origin of the Maple, La Maison amérindienne offers a museum, environmental and gastronomical activities. Its exhibitions, entertainment, workshops, kitchen with a First Nations flavor, its shop and trails of interpretation will charm you.


  • Admission Fees
    For a visit of the numerous exhibitions at the Maison amérindienne and a viewing of the documentary “Sigon”, the cost is $5 per adult.
    It is also possible to sample First Nations flavors, Attikamekw sugar pie, Iroquoian cake, tea, herbal tea, etc. (depending on the choice of tasting).
    Maison amérindienne also offers different activities for groups of at least 10 adults; either guided and animated tours of the exhibitions ($8 per person), dream catcher workshops ($17 per person) and/or First Nations tasting (depending on your choice of tasting). For groups of 25 people or more, it is possible to complete your experience at La Maison amérindienne with a delicious meal ($20 per person)

    Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm to 5pm

    Aboriginal craft store, access for persons with reduced mobility, parking, guided and animated bilingual tours, a Cafe where you can enjoy a taste of the local delicacies (Attikamekw sugar pie, Iroquoian cake, tea and herbal tea), food (reservation needed and only groups over 25 people), stories and legends and workshops to make Native American artifacts (by reservation for groups of 10 people or more).
