What’s new

Established in 1932, the generating station is one of the largest hydroelectric plants in the world! In addition to touring the facilities, come visit the all new interpretation centre and its captivating exhibit!


Located 40 kilometers from Montreal between the lakes Saint-François and Saint-Louis is one of the largest power stations in the world. The visit makes it possible to discover its history, architecture, the phases of its construction and view the 38 turbine-alternators distributed over almost a complete kilometer.
